YOU'RE HEADED IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION

Work With A Designer You Can Trust.

Hey, I'm Melody! I'm so glad you're here.

If you've landed on this page, there's a good chance you've been somewhere I've been before (and no, I'm not talking about the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains).
You've been running your business for a while now and you're genuinely good at what you do, but every time someone asks for your website or business card you feel a little knot in your stomach. Your brand doesn't look like you. It doesn't feel like the business you've worked so hard to build. And somewhere along the way, the DIY logo you threw together in a pinch started costing you confidence.
I know that feeling. And I know how much it changes when it finally goes away.
My whole thing is helping solopreneurs and creatives step into a brand that actually feels like home.

So grab a coffee & keep scrolling to get to know me a little better.

WHERE IT ALL STARTED

I've Been Making Things My Whole Life

With a name like Melody, creativity was kinda written into my DNA. Growing up there was always some project underway: drawing, painting, photography, filmmaking, writing music. It never felt like a talent I had to develop. It just felt like how I was wired.
What I didn't know then was that God was using all of my creative outlets to prepare me for exactly this work (looks like those half-finished art projects finally paid off, huh?).

THE CHAPTER THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING

I had to learn things the hard way first

For a few years, I did freelance portrait photography. I loved the work, but my brand was a mess. I rebranded over and over again, and every wrong version of my brand attracted the wrong clients. Eventually, I shut it down entirely.
Then I found myself in the real estate industry. I watched talented, hardworking people struggle not because they weren't good at their jobs, but because their brand didn't inspire trust. Clients couldn't tell the difference between them and everyone else, so they didn't choose them at all.
That's when it all clicked: A brand that doesn't authentically reflect you will hold you back from success.

WHY LOWLINE EXISTS

I built Lowline Studio for people like us

Not for the big corporations with six-figure marketing budgets. But for the solopreneur who's been wearing every hat for years and is ready to trust their brand with a pro. For the creative who knows their work is good but can't figure out why the right clients aren't finding them. For the Christian business owner who wants to partner with someone who has the same values and beliefs.
I built Lowline Studio because I believe the work we do matters and creates lasting impact. Whatever I put my hands to, I want to do it with excellence and integrity, as if I'm doing it for the Lord Himself. It's a standard I hold myself to every single time I sit down to design for a client.

WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT

Why choose Lowline Studio?

You've done everything the same up to this point, and it hasn't gotten you the results you're looking for. Why should your next branding experience be the same?

Christ-Centered

Jesus is the foundation of my life and my business, and everything I do is for His glory. My clients will always get my absolute best.
"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men." (Col. 3:23)

Strategy Comes First

Before we jump into design, I research and develop strategy to ensure what we are creating is actually going to work for you. Not just look pretty.

More Than A Logo

A logo is just a piece of the branding puzzle. If that's all you have, everything else feels incomplete or confusing. That's why I create full brand systems that give your brand the support it needs to fully reflect who you are and attract the right people.

Depth Over Volume

Rather than producing multiple speculative concepts, I focus on developing one strong concept based on strategy. This gives us better alignment and confidence for your new brand.

A Thoughtful Approach

I intentionally work with one client at a time so I can stay present, detail-oriented, and invested in the work I am providing.

Simple & Clean Design

My style can be described as simple and clean. I love designing wordmark logos, using bold typography, and simple icons that are easy to see and remember. As they say, "Less is more".

With every project I complete, a portion of my earnings supports local Christian ministries.Learn more about my Ministry Partners here.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE

A little more about me

I love working from local coffee shops (it's practically a business expense at this point).

I'm originally from NC, but spent half my life in Texas. My husband is also from Texas, and yet we somehow ended up in Oklahoma. Being an Okie isn't as bad as the Texans make it out to be!

I'm an avid home baker and have become an expert in yeast breads. (If we work together, you can expect some of my famous homemade Italian bread!)

My dachshund and I go on more pup-cup runs than we'd like to admit (more on him later)

I have a home music studio where I write and record music. Flute is my primary instrument, but can play several other instruments! (Bonus fact: I used to perform at weddings and events)

Being an NC native, I love to hike and be outdoors. But this Okie landscape just isn't the same as the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Not sure if it's time to rebrand?

Let's talk through your business and determine whether a rebrand is the right next step.

THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME

Meet Oscar, my (unofficial) assistant

Dachshunds are low to the ground, but they are loyal, full of personality, and companions for life. That's where the name Lowline comes from. And it's exactly how I try to show up for every client I work with (well, except for sleeping all day or begging for food. I promise I don't do that to my clients).

Oscar came into my life in 2020 as a tiny, opinionated dachshund rescue who had absolutely no idea he was about to become a brand mascot. Honestly, neither did I.
Shortly after adopting him, I started drawing comics about our life together. Of course, not all the comics are based on real events, but I like to pretend they are. What started as a fun creative outlet has taken on a life of its own and become a permanent part of Lowline Studio.
